The Medicine Within: Transformative Healing with Human Design and Plant Medicine

In this episode, Tara is joined by Richard Learmont, a certified human design professional, transformational guide, musician, and sound healer. Richard shares his journey from Trinidad and Tobago to New York, his experiences with plant medicines that ultimately led him to the medicine path, and his perspective on human design. He emphasizes the importance of trusting our inner authority and discusses the current transitional phase of humanity.

Tara and Richard also touch on the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, the changing belief systems, and the importance of personal guidance.

Richard is dedicated to assisting young professionals in navigating the challenges of today's rapidly changing world and finding true fulfillment in both their personal and professional lives.

Listen in to learn how Richard's own struggles have led him to discover the keys to unlocking fulfillment and success that can be applied to any area of your life.

Richard's Early Life and Journey to Healing and Self-Discovery

Richard's journey to becoming a healer and practitioner of human design is nothing short of inspiring. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, he spent his early years surrounded by the natural beauty of mountains, waterfalls, and savannahs. His move to New York City, however, brought challenges, particularly with his stepfather and stepsisters.

Despite the strained relationship, Richard found solace in music, playing the saxophone in his stepfather's band. This experience, coupled with his decision to leave home early, set him on a path of self-discovery and transformation.

The Power of Plant Medicine and Human Design

Richard's holistic approach to healing incorporates elements of shamanism, plant medicine, and human design. He believes that plant medicines like sassafras and DMT can help us delve deep within ourselves and release conditioning from past generations. These plant medicines act as amplifiers, allowing us to see different aspects of ourselves and return to our true essence.

I can personally attest to the transformative power of Richard's approach. Participating in a medicine circle he facilitated, which incorporated human design, breathwork, and music, was a profound experience. It helped me understand that the mind is just a measuring tool and emphasized the importance of slowing down, coming back into the body, and responding to the world in a centered and authentic way.

Understanding Human Design and Our Inner Authority

Richard's explanation of human design and the concept of inner and outer authority was particularly enlightening. He describes the mind as an outer authority, responsible for interpreting and processing information from the external world. However, true guidance and authority come from within the body, not the mind. This inner authority is a mechanism within us that knows exactly where we're going and how to navigate our lives.

This concept resonated with me, and I believe many refer to this inner authority as intuition or their "god self." Human Design provides each person with their specific strategy for training their mind to trust their inner authority.

The Evolution of Humanity and the Role of Human Design

Richard believes that we are currently in a transitional phase as a species, evolving from seven-centered beings to nine-centered beings. This period, which started in 1781 and will continue until 2027, is focused on bringing in a new generation of pure nine-centered beings. Richard explains that there is a mutation occurring, and the heating up of the planet is related to this mutation.

As we approach 2027, Richard predicts that we will witness breakdowns in systems and revolutions globally, similar to the end of the Roman Empire. He believes that human design can help individuals navigate these changing times by providing a roadmap to understanding and trusting their inner authority.

Navigating the Pandemic and Trusting Our Inner Authority

Our conversation also touched on the topic of vaccines and the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Richard emphasizes that everyone is unique, and different approaches to healing may be more suitable for different people. He also highlights the importance of listening to one's own inner guidance and trusting oneself, a lesson that human design can teach us.

Richard's Mission and Upcoming Collaboration

Richard sees himself as a messenger of knowledge, with a mission to bring this information to different communities. He is currently preparing a presentation on the basics of human design and the changes we are going through, accompanied by a musical composition that helps people connect with their inner selves.

For those interested in learning more about Richard's work or working with him privately, you can find him online at "A Return to Essence" or on Instagram.

I'm thrilled to announce that Richard and I will be collaborating on a special event in the early fall, which will include human design, breathwork, a musical composition, and a plant medicine journey. I'm excited to work with Richard again and look forward to sharing his extraordinary work as a transformational guide with you all.

Stay tuned for more enlightening conversations and remember, the journey to self-discovery and creating a divine lifestyle starts with you.
