Embodies Wisdom: Break Free from Emotional Chains with LOUD | Somatic Movement Experience  

The LOUD method©️ is a combination of somatic movement therapy, nervous system regulation practices, sound and breath work to address and release the deep physiological effects of trauma held in the mind & body. 

LOUD Method©️ is a place to:

* Release and transmute emotions, energy and trauma that has been stuck and stored in your body

* Learn to ride the waves of these energies/emotions

* Learn to embrace all of your emotions without judgment or restriction

* Harness and move the transformational power of emotions through your being to create change in your life experience

Due to overwhelming emotional pain that is often present, it is common that post-traumatic stress remains in the body, stifling the healing process, causing disease and continued suffering.  

By experiencing stored energy and emotion, layer by layer, in the comfort of a safe container, you are able to thaw the residue of innate trauma stored in the body and nervous system.

Empowering ourselves through this process, we are able to connect the body with its powerful self-healing functions to assist in resolving intense states of stress, deep emotional release, physical tension and trauma.

Class Structure:

*  5 min overview

*  30 min somatic practice

*  10 minute integration

How to prepare yourself for this experience: 

    * Log on to Zoom at least 5 minutes early to get settled for class.

    * Organize your space with a yoga mat or comfortable area free of objects that might get in your way.

    * Have some water or a soothing beverage nearby.

    * Wear loose clothing that you can freely move your body in. 

    * If you can make your space WARM, please do so, so your body is more open to movement.

    * Please create a safe container for yourself to express freely in whatever way you desire. A space to get LOUD. You may laugh, cry, scream, shake and release.

    * If you live with other people, please have a conversation with them, so that they know that you are in a workshop, where you will be making noises and moving through different emotions. If this is not typical in your household, also let them know that you are ok and that if you need support you will ask for it. Be responsible for creating the space for your deepest release and transformation.

How to support yourself after your experience: 

* The class will end in silence. Please refrain from talking to others for a while, as the somatic experience is alchemizing. Talking brings you into your head and out of the body's healing wisdom.

* In the next few days there may be more layers of emotion or realizations that emerge to be seen, felt, and heard. See if you can make space to honor them.
