How To Improve Your Spiritual Health

Hey gorgeous,

What is spiritual health? How do you know if you’re spiritually healthy?

I was having a conversation with my then-boyfriend (now husband) and we were talking about when you don’t take care of yourself, you don’t feel strong when you’re exhausted, you are not built up to handle what life throws at you.

We started talking about ways to get back on track when this happens. And it always does right?

And making the right decisions and staying away from bad habits that pull you into lower vibrations is a great start.

In this video, I explain ways you can gauge your current level of spiritual health

I can only speak from my experience, so when we were talking, we realized that drinking pulls us both into a lower vibration. We also quickly realized how it is as simple as removing this destructive habit from our lives to FREE up our energy to concentrate on living to our highest potential.

Do you ever feel like you are not living to your highest potential?

Well, I do and I think it’s normal and a work in progress. Something we work through each day. You can have one day where you feel like you’re on your A-game, you are aligned with your purpose and super productive and then the next day, you are not

This is where I really understand the saying, “Take it one day at a time.” It’s about checking in every day to find out what is going on inside of you.

What is driving you? What is off? Have you missed your self-care or daily personal development and how do you get back on track?

So then I found a cool article that said, “High levels of spiritual health can impact overall health. People can become more resilient by properly addressing their spiritual health.” I already intuitively knew this but it is awesome when you can find other sources to confirm what you already deeply know.

So what does that mean?

It means that something as simple as prayer and meditation (formal or informal) can really affect not just your spiritual health but your overall health.

I am a firm believer that our spiritual, emotional, and physical health are all interconnected. And one way to get a FREE prescription is to tap into the well that God has given each and every one of us. It is by going inside that we can improve spiritual health.

Improve Your Spiritual Health by Asking These Questions

I encourage you to explore this for yourself. A few ways you can gauge your spiritual health is by checking in and asking yourself a few questions:

-Do you give your love freely? Without looking at whether the person deserves it or not. Are you giving it without expecting anything back?

-Do you have joy in your life? Joy is independent of the good or bad things that happen in your day. It is a supernatural state of being.

-Are you depressed?

-Do you have negative thoughts?

-Are you always tired?

-Sluggish?

-Are you peaceful in the midst of chaos? Do you have a sense of wholeness and completeness, are you content trusting in the divine?

-Are you patient? I struggle with this one the most. I’m so impatient and I have to check myself and practice letting go and learning to trust because I want to reach my highest potential.

Do you forgive? This is a big one. So many of us hold on to anger or resentment and it becomes poison that only hurts ourselves.

So, if you are experiencing any of these symptoms…WHERE CAN YOU START?

It’s super simple…

-Start from a place of love! Love for yourself, love for others, love for humanity!
-Sit quietly in prayer and meditation for a few min each day.
-Ask the divine (the holy spirit) to open your eyes to the beauty the world has to offer.
-Ask questions when you pray, ask that you are spoken to in ways in which only you can understand. So when you get clear signs or answers you know it is a confirmation. It is sacred and special.

Ask and you shall receive my friends. It’s that simple!
