Breaking The Stigma of Depression

I am so nervous as I write this post because I am about to share my COMPLETE truth with you. WOW….this is liberating and soooooo scary.

My mind is blown, my heart bursting open, my soul is singing and my spirit is soaring! I was asked to be the keynote speaker for LifeAct, a non-profit that delivers lifesaving suicide prevention educational programs to Northeast Ohio middle schools & high schools. They train caring instructors to teach teens to recognize the warning signs of depression and suicide, empowering them to come forward to seek professional help for themselves or others.

I was a bit nervous sharing my whole truth to a audience of 2,000 but I DID it and I feel liberated. I broke the chains of fear and stepped into my power!

Whooooowhooo!!!

To be part of something that is literally saving lives EVERY single day has brought me to tears. Our stories are POWERFUL. Powerful enough to inspire others to keep fighting, to keep living and continue to heal.

I am deeply moved by my experience in Cleveland and humbled beyond words. I often think, ‘How can I make my mother proud?” As I spoke of my journey of transformation after her loss, I had a vision of her “passing the baton” as some would say. I now know my duty is to honor her legacy and reach more children.

Use your experiences to shape your voice and let your mess be your message!

My mission is to empower 100 million towards self-acceptance, transformational healing and re-define the meaning of “true health”. I am committed to breaking the stigma associated with depression and suicide.

Let’s start a conversation! Let’s start a movement of healing; a movement of living!

Please SHARE this video if you think someone needs to hear it or if you want to join this movement!!!

YOU ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU KNOW!

To each beautiful spirit who is struggling with depression; you are not alone. Your life matters and it’s worth living because you are a unique expression in the world. Our souls are as unique as our fingerprints and we all have something special to share.
